OCTOBER 26-28, 2015 (Oct. 25-31) - National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) WORLD Championships at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia.
Dr. Carrie Porter will be onsite providing acupuncture services including complimentary acupuncture exams on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday ONLY. OCTOBER 9-11, 2015 : Dr. Carrie Porter will be  on-site providing acupuncture services for the equine athletes competing in the Great American Insurance Group/United States Dressage Federation REGION 3 Dressage Championships in Conyers, GA.  Veterinary Acupuncture of Atlanta wishes the best of luck to all of the competitors in the Atlanta National Fall Dressage Show! 

VEterinary Health Certificates

A Certificate of Veterinary Health Inspection is required in the state of Georgia under the following conditions:
  • Requested by a private  show or competition for entry 
  • Transport of animal that entails crossing state lines - into and out of Georgia

A Negative Coggins (EIA test) and an exam are required for a veterinarian to issue an Interstate Health Certificate.
